PANORAMIC VIEW OF 2023

  

NUMEROLOGICALLY, a 7 year (2+0+2+3). Connected to the planet Neptune. The higher octave of Venus, Neptune is the planet of unconditional love, the mystical, music, magic, and what lies on the other side of the veil. We are finally coming out of this warring period that began in 2017 and ended in 2022. The time for peace, the deeper emergence of true spiritual consciousness, the attraction to beauty, and a profound sense of oneness enable us to start rebuilding all that was so tragically destroyed in the 5 previous years.

 

THE CHINESE YEAR of the Water Rabbit (January 22, 2023 – February 9, 2024)

Typically, this is a year during which we can dare do those things we had only dreamt of. A year also marked by forgiveness, where we reap what we have sown. Those who created good karma, lived in integrity, did their homework and have been honorable, will enjoy peace, creativity, good taste, receive support and accolades. Those who have persisted in being selfish, abusing the system and others, engaging in corruption, and generally getting away with murder, will not like this year which will bring much pain and hardship. Globally, we are unlikely to engage in arguments, and will most likely avoid petty fights. Positive forms of communication and teaching either verbally or through the written word bring beautiful growth. Prosperity and the pride of a work well done come rather effortlessly to those who are very clear on what they really need, do not shy away from challenges, are determined as well as focused, and as a result, make good decisions. Financial responsibility and investing in beauty bring success. This is an excellent year for starting a romantic relationship or strengthening an existing one.  Most blessed in

2023 are those who were born in the years of the Goat, Dog, and Pig.

Jupiter is in Aries since December 20th, 2022 till May 16, 2023. The beginning of a new 12 years’ cycle. We break free from the past with optimism and courage. Armed with an abundance of self-confidence, we feel that nothing we put our mind to cannot be accomplished. The drive to dream our life into being and back it up with concrete, positive actions is strong. Limitations, restrictions, rules, and obligations fly in the face of our determination to move forward with resolute faith in a better world.

Jupiter enters Taurus on May 16 till May 25, 2024. This more peaceful influence encourages us to focus on our well-being, heal, spend time in Nature, and honor Mother Earth. Planting fruit trees, creating a herb garden, growing vegetables are all activities in alignment with this very prosperous transit. Money is rightfully valued and becomes more solid. We are willing to work hard to secure the comfort we need and invest in a financial future that also benefits the environment.

Saturn is in Aquarius until March 8, 2023. During the first 2 months of 2023, there could still be some lingering restrictions to our freedom of speech and movement. Those limitations could be particularly painful for elderly people who feel more keenly the sense of loneliness. Developing our creativity within these boundaries leads to wisdom.

Saturn enters Pisces on March 8 till May 25, 2025. This is a strange zodiacal position for Saturn who is about as different from Pisces as can be. Restrictions and limitations dissolve. A renewal of faith takes place. We are connected to each other through compassion, tolerance, understanding, and wisdom. Artists are favored. We work in a more relaxed manner with great sensitivity to an invisible flow, and are drawn to beauty. Following our intuition brings us serenity.

Uranus remains in Taurus this whole year (until April 26, 2026) between 15º 09’ and 19º24’ Taurus. Changes in the financial system are afoot. By 2026, all paper money is likely to have shifted to crypto currency. We need to free ourselves from debts and not live above our means. A time to simplify our lives, be financially independent, and earn a living doing what we love.

Mother Earth will continue rebelling against our abuse. Earthquakes, volcano eruptions, tsunamis will occur in the most unlikely places, in the most inopportune of ways, leaving much destruction in their wake. Honoring the Earth, spending quality time in Nature is important to remain balanced and grounded.

Neptune remains in Pisces this whole year (until January 27, 2026) between 22º52’ and 25º 04’ Pisces. The health of our waters, oceans, lakes but also tap water continues being questioned. The invisible virus is still rampant. So are false information, the concealing of truth, stories passing as news, the wolves disguised as lambs while the innocent ones are being slaughtered. Confusion reigns, misleading even the most educated. The structure of reality becomes very vague while the veil between dimensions gently dissolves allowing those who have eyes, to see beyond the illusions.

Pluto remains in Capricorn until March 23, 2023, + between June 11 and January 22, 2024. More darkness and evil that had been buried for a long time is being flushed out. Corruptions at very high level are being revealed. Everything related to child exploitation, sexual abuse, slavery, and domestic violence continues coming to the surface, as well as money laundering, murders disguised as suicides, and the misused power of large corporations. On the bright side, this is a time to stand in the integrity of our own truth, be a law unto ourselves, X-ray situations and people, and know that we know.

Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23 till June 11, 2023. This first change of sign which will be fully effective in 2024, is particularly significant. Power will go from a small elite to the masses. We won’t be governed anymore by beings enjoying self-serving privileges, but true democracy will begin emerging all over the world as the people become a law unto themselves. A huge sense of freedom will sweep over every nation, accompanied by real progress in the fields of technology, science, and a deeper understanding of metaphysics. The sense that we are the ones we have been waiting for will take its full meaning.

 

The two main aspects this year both involve Jupiter. Jupiter Square Pluto

(see May 17) and Jupiter Sextile Saturn (see June 19).

 

The 4 eclipses in 2022 are all in the Aries- Libra and Taurus/Scorpio axis (see April 20, May 5, October 14, October 28).  These oppositions represent the need to balance the masculine and the feminine, honor our need for security and safety as well as our desire for passion and intensity, and find how to fully express our individuality while respecting others. An equilibrium needs to be struck between on one hand peace, beauty and harmony, and on the other, deep integrity, loyalty, courage, the unraveling of secrets, and profound insights into the truth.

JANUARY

Thursday 12:

Mars turns direct at 12:56 PM (8º09’ Gemini). This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by “A quiver filled with arrows”. During the past few months, truths were told, often sharply, our courage was tested, and our treatment of others was revealed, we are equipped to move forward, take new initiatives, and act more fairly than we ever did.

 

Wednesday 18:

Mercury turns direct at 5:12 AM (8º19’ Capricorn). This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by “An Angel carrying a harp”. During the last few weeks, authorities who were not serving the people were revealed and collapsed, we took a good look at our career goals and reassessed our position in society, we can now look forward to a path much more in harmony with divine consciousness. Positive changes are afoot, that are leading us to a more spiritual reality.

 

Sunday 22:

Uranus turns direct at 2:59 PM (14º57’ Taurus). This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by “A man with a rakish silk hat, muffled against the cold, braves a storm”. Our relationship to money, Mother Earth, also romance changed drastically in the past few months. We learned what our true values were, making what-wasn’t fall away. We know that whatever life throws at us, we grow from. Those experiences have helped us gain a new strength.

This degree is symbolized by: “A duck pond and its brood”. Time for brave new growth, being courageous, assertive, and straightforward. Taking risks, jumping into action, being the master of our own destiny, help us make positive changes in our lives, leading to new beginnings.

 

Friday 21:

Mercury turns Retrograde at 1:35 AM (15º37’ Taurus) until May 14 (5º54’ Taurus). The degree the retrogradation starts on is symbolized by “An old teacher fails to interest his pupils in traditional knowledge”. Employment and career come into focus. What are our values? What do we stand for? Is our work in alignment with our deeper truth? These will all be questions we shall have to answer during the next 3 weeks. We could find that our routine no longer works, that we have grown disinterested in what we do, and no longer see the relevance of our goals. Time to shift things around!

MAY

Monday 1:

Pluto turns retrograde at 10:09 AM (0º22’ Aquarius) till October 10: This degree is symbolized by: “An old adobe mission”. Sweeping changes are occurring in the social order. Rebellion of the people against government that haven’t represented them for a long time will take place the world over. The power of the human spirit might start overturning the slavery of technology. We may start to see the end of the internet. Scientific discoveries that were helpful to humanity’s positive evolution that had been blocked by the powers that be, will reemerge to be implemented. A massive freedom from a reality that had become a prison, will take place.

 

Friday 5:

Lunar Eclipse at 10:34 AM (14º58’ Scorpio):

This degree is represented by the following image: “Children playing around

five mounds of sand”. Whatever we have built in our lives, we can now enjoy. Profound feelings are likely to come to the forefront confronting us deeply. Revelations occur, secrets are revealed, issues are brought to light that force us to clarify our feelings, become clear on our emotional attachments, and improve our finances.

 

Wednesday 17:

Jupiter Squares Pluto at 6:11 PM:

Many obstacles arise. As The Truth about many aspects of life emerges, humanity will be challenged to change many of its previous beliefs. This could cause great growing pains in many. Attempts against our integrity could be insidious. The dark side of organized religion could become particularly visible. Releasing destructive aspects of our lives becomes a necessity. An immense strain on our trust and faith could tempt us to jump ship, yet, we need to stay stronger than ever in our own integrity and have the clarity to separate the wheat from the chaff. An ultimatum may be required. Staying true to ourselves, having the courage to compromise when needed, and remaining tolerant will separate those who will be have to face their demons from those who have done their homework and can reap the rewards of having followed an honorable path.

A wonderful time to set new endeavors into motion. We creatively harmonize structure and expansion, back vision with hard, disciplined, focused work, and are both optimistic and realistic. Our faith is strong, based in practicality. Taking advantage of everything we have learned, our planning for the future is impeccable. We respect those who have proven trustworthy. Our approach to life is ethical and balanced, and our judgement is sound, grounded in a reality of growth and discovery. We appreciate and find joy in the simple things of existence.

 

Friday 30:

Neptune turns retrograde at 2:07 PM (27º41’ Pisces) till December 6:

The image associated with this degree is “A fertile garden under the full Moon”. Idealism and intuition are highly developed. We feel the vibrations around us and seek peace. Empathy, compassion, and unconditional love permeate reality. A strong sense of the Oneness of humanity is developing, encouraging tolerance, respect, and a deep appreciation of how differences are not separating us, but enriching us all.

 

JULY

Saturday 22:

Venus turns retrograde at 6:33 PM (28º36’ Leo) until September 3:

This degree is symbolized by: “A mermaid emerges from the ocean ready for rebirth in human form”. Our emotional values -whether they are romantic or monetary, need to be reexamined. Relationships undergo great changes. Rejection occurs, a romance ends abruptly, or a lost love returns. Our connection to finances is also transformed. A large amount of money could come our way, or a great loss could occur.

 

AUGUST

Wednesday 23:

Mercury turns retrograde at 12:59 PM (21º49’ Virgo), till September 15:

The image associated with this degree is “A girl’s basketball team”. Our routine may get disrupted. Communications are likely to become stuck on details. Delays in travel occur. This is a time to find the words for what we had kept secret until now, and be more daring than usual, and attentive.

 

Monday 28:

Uranus turns retrograde at 7:39 PM (23º05’ Taurus), till:

The image associated with this degree is “An Indian warrior riding fiercely, human scalps hanging at his belt”. Whether we have been enslaved by money, living in a place we no longer relate to, or held back by a toxic relationship, the time has come to make the necessary changes that will honor our individuality and freedom. Only can we be true to ourselves when we courageously face our fears.

 

SEPTEMBER

Monday 4:

Jupiter turns retrograde at 7:10 AM (15º35’ Taurus), till December 30:

The image associated with this degree is “An old teacher fails to interest his pupils in traditional knowledge”. Very similarly to Mercury retrograde that began on April 21, we shall realize the world over that most of the knowledge that was deemed to be true, wasn’t. “History” was made of invented stories appearing real but wasn’t the reality of our past. Archeology had manipulated ancient codes and much had been hidden from view. A rewriting of our past will start taking place which will change our books and what we value.

 

OCTOBER

Saturday 14:

Solar Eclipse at 10:55 AM (21º08’ Libra):

This degree is symbolized by: “A child giving birds a drink at a fountain”. Our relationships require depth, solidity, and seriousness. Our integrity comes into focus. We are likely to be more dynamic, courageous, and powerful. A strong sense of destiny permeates our projects which could make us take a very different turn than expected.

 

Saturday 28:

Lunar Eclipse at 1:24 PM (5º09’ Taurus):

This degree is symbolized by: “A bridge built across a gorge”. Resolutely calling a spade a spade, we are moving into our future outspokenly, with courage and integrity. In love with love, we could romanticize a relationship which at best could be one with a very strong soul connection. Towards the

end of this first year of peace, the rebuilding is well underway.
